Cabin Hunters was founded in the year 2000 when Marc and Linda realized a need to network with buyers, sellers and real estate agents in the Twin Cities area. Statistics show that 70% of the lake home buyers come from that area. It is also predicted that 2 out of 3 members of the "Baby Boom" generation will be purchasing second homes within the next 10 years.

Cabin Hunters was designed to help buyers locate property that interest them prior to driving up north and to educate them about the different lakes, wells, septic systems and building restrictions not normally found in the Twin Cities.

Cabin Hunters also represents lake home owners to sell their property by listing the property both in the Brainerd MLS as well as the Twin Cities MLS. Cabin Hunters networks with hundreds of real estate agents in the Twin Cities as well as advertises their properties in the Twin Cities where 70% of the potential buyers will come from.

Cabin Hunters offices out of Brainerd and is owned and run by Marc and Linda Kuhnley, agents with Edina Realty for nearly 20 years. The Kuhnleys are in the top 1% of all Twin Cities real estate agents, selling upper bracket homes in the Bloomington and Edina Markets. Marc and Linda have been lake home owners in the Brainerd area for upwards of 25 years.
